Firstly, fantastic hours. You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time meaning more time with friends and family and no working at Christmas! 

This role is:

  • 20 hours per week – with no late nights
  • Working 39 weeks per year based around term time – what could you do with all that time off?
  • £12.50 per hour

Job Introduction

As a Relief Catering Assistant you will support the team across a number of schools within your area, providing assistance with basic food preparation and providing excellent service to both students and staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working on the tills during service (full training will be provided)
  • Cleaning duties within the kitchen
  • Ensuring Health & safety compliance is met
  • Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all

The Ideal Candidate

We need someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous catering experience
  • Full driving licence to allow you to travel between schools
  • You’ve worked as part of a team before in a fast paced environment
  • You have your Food Hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
  • You have basic knowledge of health and safety practices
