This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate nutritionist to join our AVE Menu & Nutrition team. Our ethos is to improve customers' food and nutrition offer through education, innovation and compliance. Reporting to the Head of Nutrition (Danielle Smith), the successful candidate will gain experience working alongside industry leading experts.
- Remote working with some travel required
- 40 hours per week
- 52 weeks per year
- £24,000 per annum
- With an expected start date of 28th May 2024

Key responsibilities
Supporting the development of school menus for different allergies, intolerances, and medical conditions
Providing nutrition and CO2 analysis of school menus
Providing system and analytical support to the wider team and customers i.e. the use of our ordering system, maintain nutrition and ingredient data of clients recipes
General team support
Support customer queries related to food, menus & nutrition
The perfect candidate
Graduate of an Association for Nutrition accredited nutrition degree from university
Attention to detail, analytical and numeracy skills
Great interpersonal skills: ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders in an
approachable yet professional manner
Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivated with a desire to enhance their career
A passion for keeping up to date with nutrition research and national health events
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to manage a busy diary independently
