By providing excellent care and services to both clients and children, we have ensured the successful growth of the company, and to keep up with the rapid pace of this growth, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team.
The Role:
This role is perfect for a proven sales professional who thrives on seeing projects through from initial lead to successful mobilisation. We're looking for someone with a strong background in Educational Catering, bringing not just experience but also a dynamic personality, infectious enthusiasm, and a highly personable approach. Your strong self-awareness will be key to building lasting relationships and driving our growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You'll be the go-to person for driving sales and hitting annual targets.
- Smashing sales targets and expanding our fantastic customer base.
- Building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Engage with new clients to truly understand what makes their business needs and objectives
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value of our proposition.
- Build relationships with consultants and internal colleagues/departments to plan, manage and deliver high-quality tender responses/proposals.
- You'll guide the entire sales process, from initial chat to closing bids, ranging from £50k to £2m
What You'll Bring:
- Whether its through your experience or education within the sales arena, you understand client buying behaviours, needs and know how to build long-lasting relationships.
- You can easily communicate, present to, and influence stakeholders of all levels - from new contacts to our top-tier leaders.
- Proven ablility of following the sales journey inside and out, from the first spark of an idea to a closed deal.
- You've got the proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and why they're the perfect fit.
- You're able to position products perfectly against the competition, making sure we always stand out.
- You have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Your communication skills, both spoken and written, are clear, compelling, and always hit the mark.
- You're able to jump in and update and maintain our CRM system
- Being a team player and working with internal colleagues to maximise all bids and the process.
- You're a team player and thrive on working with colleagues across the business to smash bid goals and streamline processes.
