By providing excellent care and services to both clients and children, we have ensured the successful growth of the company and to keep up with the rapid pace of this growth, we are now looking for an Area Support Manager to join the team.

The role:

As an Area Support Manager you will oversee a specific area of our catering operations for a region of Primary & Secondary school contracts. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will lead our teams in delivering an excellent food operation, meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.

This role is: 

  • 40 hours per week
  • 52 weeks per year
  • £38,000 - £40,000 per annum

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the creation and delivery of sales presentations to potential new clients.

  • Assisting in new contract mobilisations.

  • Building strong working relationships with both new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service.

  • Ensuring all teams are fully trained in all aspects of their role and identify any training gaps.

  • Maintaining company systems & procedures, and legislation.

  • Carrying out regular unit audits to ensure company standards are met.

  • Completing monthly reporting.

  • Supporting the Operations Manager in the delivery of action plans to ensure a consistent, service led operation to our clients.

About you:

Currently working in the hospitality/contract catering sector, you will have worked in a similar role previously. Supporting, coaching and developing teams whilst ensuring that the team all have the passion to meet high standards and an excellent service level at all times.

With excellent communication skills, you can lead client meetings, managing their expectations and overcoming challenges.

As well as being service focused, you are process led ensuring standards, procedures and systems are maintained and followed at all times. You’ll need excellent computer skills, the ability to work under your own initiative with the desire to learn and achieve.
